I am not sure if I ever expressed the love I have for creative writing. I will admit my recent writings have not been "spectacular" but dealing with certain family issues have prevented me from having the best of moods lately. Creative writing is so fun, just throwing your thoughts out there and making something out of what didn't use to be there. I find it especially easy when I am listening to music, it also depends what I am listening to because I can be listening to some Frank Sinatra and write about love. On the other hand I could be listening to some Dr. Dre and end up writing about me being a gangster in the south side of Chicago. It is all a matter of what mood you are in, and that is what is key when writing, the mood you want to establish. Do you want the reader to be captivated and start to question their existence on this planet or would you rather have them laugh like they are at a comedy club? Either or it does not matter, all that matters is the fact that you are writing about what you want to write about.
