It all starts somewhere, the drive to make a difference. For me personally I have always had that drive even when I was just a little boy, but in recent months my drive has faded. Worried that I may lose one of my best qualities I searched to find it again, unfortunately nothing was really helping in my search until school arrived. After watching Shane Koyczan and how powerful his words were, especially the emotion he had. It truly was an a-ha moment for me, realizing that deep poetry would be my key to success again. Yet, I see it as a blessing, now I have been giving the opportunity to get back on the grind and start writing and experimenting with various themes and writing styles. Ever had that "kid in a candy store" feeling? Well that is me no doubt! Although I sit here with the utmost confidence in myself and the cand-do attitude that can propel me to success there will always be challenges. I am ready to face these challenges with the rest of my peers, I am ready to make something meaningful out of something so simple. Sometimes standing out is not a negative thing, sometimes it is the right path, sometimes you just can not help it.
